turbo test fitting (GT35R)
A couple of pictures to share -
Test fitting the GT35R to the 16v ‘dummy’ engine…..looks kind of big!! The 3” down pipe doesn’t look that big due to the size of the turbo. That’s a 4” inlet in the front….

Chris: Now that downpipe is attached to a standard 3" exhaust system?
Same applies for the x-overpipe?
What about mounding the turbocharger? Edman and JChen did a lot of fabrications to just mount that turbo (unless you have something up your sleeve )
great work though!

It has Tim’s (SFR) stage 1 header and crossover pipe made up for the 16v head (stock diameter crossover piping) and the 3” down pipe goes into a full 3” exhaust.
The turbo has a different base welded on as well as the Vband flange on the down pipe connection. I also had to clearance the engine mounting arm a little.

Chris: As John (Porshhhh951) mentioned, you have GT kits? i never knew that.........
So, you are still testing the kits? would you be kind enough to mention what these kits would include, power ranges, prices, availablity and so on
