Default Guru racing 18-psi chips without O² sensor ?

Can i simply remove my 0² sensor and go on using my Guru 18 psi chips ?

How will it behave ? I guess, i won't have any fine af adjustments then but is it a real problem ? (i don't care about emissions tests)

I want to install a wideband lambda but don't want to cut and weld my exhaust, so i was thinking about just removing the current narrowband O² sensor and put the wideband one in place. If i get the PLX Devices system, i can use the narrowband output to go to the DME but i'm not sure i want this yet...

You will get inncorrect reading if you put the WB were the NB is. The NB can tolerate the higher preasure and temperatures at the stock location, the WB will not. A good muffler shop will weld on a bung for under $50. You can purchase a plug that you insert if you want to remove the WB. You can also use a old sparkplug, same threads. David Floyd posted some pictures of a good location.

Thanks, i will try to find the David Floyd post about this

My main problem for the WB, is i can't get access easily under the car. So it's a bit tricky to remove the exhaust to get it to a muffler shop

Can't you take the car to the exhaust shop instead?

Put the sensor in the test pipe after the bend (underneath the driver foot well). Make sure the sensor will be parallel to the ground (3 oclock position) on the pipe. Keep your narrowband, it cleans up idle & PT.
