Tim @ Speed Force Racing sells the Tial 38mm Wastegate with adapter plates for $299 for rennlist members.

Tial is No.1 for 'Bank for buck'.

If your stock wg is in good condition, then just change spring or shim the existing one.
Save the money and upgrade your turbo. A properly sized turbo running within it's efficieny range will generate much lower backpressure, combine this with a stiffer or shimmed spring a you will hold boost much better.
Except for spring stiffness there is nothing wrong with the stock wg.
Yeah, the Tial looks better and has dual ports. But since it's under the car and very few people runs both ports it doesn't matter.

I wouldn't be so sure very few use both ports...??

What are your plans for the car? If its increased boost and you want to control it, a dual port tial is the way to go. You can't beat one especially with a good EBC.(apexi or profec). It's a good stepping stone if you have lots of HP mods coming.

I have a deltagate that I will be selling shortly for $220 shipped that has the correct adaptor plates. The deltagate is very similar to the Tial, they are both dual port.

Guru Racing puts a 1 bar spring in the stock WG now. $199 after you send him your old one.

That is what I have as well. I will say that is a REALLY big shame no one sees the TiAL under the car because it is about as nice a unit as I have seen.

If you don't run a dual solenoid EBC setup you're not taking advantage of the dual ports.
Yes I'm sure that many people connect both ports but with a single solenoid or an MBC you could us a single port wg as well.

The wastegate upgrade was one of the best things I have put on my car thus far. I wouldnt mess with rebuilds, TiAL all the way.

My tial is fantastic with the MBC.
BUT, I do get minor voltage fluctuations (up-down-up) on the map datalog as the revs rise. I am going to datalog the difference soon with a modern EBC to see concrete proof of whether or not the MBC is retarding boost at all.

It's retarded to tun a DP WG in single port mode. You can run it in dual port mode with a MBC or an EBC and still achieve greater response then running it in single port mode and relying on spring pressure and having no opposing pressure to aid in closing the valve/keeping it closed. My AVC-R only has one solenoid and it's one of the best EBC's on the market (outside of the Blitz stuff IMHO). I know very few people who run a DP WG in single port mode (unless they're using an acuboost type of controller).
