Exclamation HEADLIGHT problem... HELP!

Hey guys, I got another problem with my 951. This is the first time it ever has happened. I drove the car today and at night I went to a restaurant. After I parked, I shut the car off and noticed a clicking sound. I couldn't find where the noise was coming from in the interior. It turns out my headlamps (headlights) were opening and closing and opening and closing, etc. and wouldn't stop. The first thing I thought to do was to start the car again and turn the headlights on and off but the same problem occurred. I disconnected the battery, ate real quick, went back out and connected the battery and it stopped. I drove home and once again, after I turned the headlights off it started popping up and down, up and down, and so on, regardless if the car is on or off.

Temporarily, I took the fuse out for the headlamp motors until I can solve this problem. Any ideas? Thanks again for your time guys, I really appreciate it!

Thanks TurboX for the reply. I'll definitely try to do that as soon as I can. Is that what you did to fix yours?

It sounds like it may be a relay too.

Sounds to me like the headlight switch itself, inthe interior of the car. Do a search there is a couple things it could be but thats what id bet my money on.

You guys aren't the only ones, mine does it sometimes.. whenever it's mad at me i guess... Usually playing with the switch stops it...

Hey guys, thanks again for the replies. I have tried fiddling with the switch to make it stop and sometimes it will stop. But how will I know it won't start popping up and down when I am away from the car?

Thanks again.
