They were spec'd the same as the 1988 turbo S, but they were JUST a 1989 turbo. ABS, LSD, and a hardened 1st, 2nd, gear plus mainshaft were all standard. others may have more info...

Sorry Kesepton.. 88TS's came in other colors than "silberosa".. The first batch was silver rose with that highly desirable plaid interior.. then they made a batch with less desirable colors.

The breaks are 4 piston caliper Brembos. The same as the 928S4 and they stop you NOW!!!
The Trubo S was really just the next stage of the 944T's evolution. Some refer to them as the '88.5 Turbo so the '89 is just the continuation of that model. The only reason that Porsche killed it was that it didn't like it's "economy" line competing with marque 911Ts and 928s (even though they stickered at about $50K). Plus the S2 had a smoother power delivery and additional low end torque to made it a more friendly daily driver.

Mo30 was standard in the US in the 89 951 too.
