Default Need help identifying what kind of seat this is

Hello all,

When I bought my car the previous owner had the seat as shown in the picture. I want to go back to the original 944 seats. I would like to identify this seat and sell it. Please help!

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the info. Is this a 944 option or is it an option on a different car?

Thats is a 944 option. Hold on to them if you can. Get them recovered. Or else like zackb911 said you could sell it pretty easy.

Thanks all for the info. I thought these seats came out of 911. Anyone interested in buying them? I am located in Pompano Beach, Florida.

Todd ... search some of the vendors Tweeks etc and you will find that they want about $1000 + USD for new original seat skins. Find a good upolstry guy and they may charge a feww hundred per seat to repair and 100 to dye.

if it's an early seat, doesn't that mean it has different mounting points than the late car? i thought the seat bottoms were different somehow. just a heads up because if it is, you car might be drilled or altered to accept an early seat and the late one might not fit anymore. i'm probably wrong, but you might want to take out the seat before deciding to purchase a new one.

We do have kits for the early sport seats, just in case you are intrested in a re-cover.

Travis: Kinda OT, but do you offer reupholstery kit for driver side only? I have a sport seat from 87, but one seat (what used to be the passenger side) is perfect -- the other seat needs recovering.
