Just finished installing my Lindsey MBC earlier today. Here's the question:
The car has APE chips with a JETTED BANJO BOLT. Should I remove the jetted banjo and put a stock on ein now that I am running a MBC ? The CV has been bypassed also.
Not sure if the wastegate is shimmed, but everything else is stock except for the brand new WF Head Gasket.

Remove the jetted bolt, or just remove the jet from the middle of the bolt.
Incidentally, I need an APE jetted banjo if you're selling it after you remove it.

You tapped the stock banjo? The 2 I have sitting around aren't threaded inside, otherwise I would have done the same. I didn't have the tap and didn't know thread size to buy one.

If he's still using the autothority chips in the car should he not keep the banjo bolt in place and not try to hold boost till redline if he does not want to blow a headgasket and or run lean on the top end???

Your right Joe, but his cycling valve has crapped out and the jetted banjo bolt is ment to work in series with the cv. I suggest that he remove the jet, install the mbc and keep the boost turned down to a few lbs above stock.

This is a slight tangent, but is still related to authothority chips and the banjo bolt. I recently switched out some Stage II chips that the previous owner installed and replaced them with the stock chips. I have also left the jetted banjo bolt in. The car feels much faster, boost seems to come on much stronger than before.
My question is running the jetted banjo with the stock chips a bad idea? I am assuming the jetted banjo raises the boost by 1 or 2 lbs, could doing this lead to a premature detonation and headgasket failure?

I believe that the boost would ultimately be limited by the overboost protection circuit (I ran into this recently) and detonation would be prevented through the action of the knock sensor and the KLR. . .
A stock head gasket should hold up fine against one or two additional pounds of boost if you can even get them. With my stock chips and no regulation going to the wastegate whatsoever (W/G line unplugged), I was unable to get more than 1.8 bar of boost before the overboost protection kicked in. I believe a lot of people run their stock / original head gaskets with 18 psi chips without problems.

Hey thanks Porsche-O-Phile. Also congrats on getting your car running. If you want a free set of Autothority Stage II chips, tell me and I'll drop them off the next time I visit the lady friend down in the LBC.
