Default Aftermarket BOV (not bypass)

I accidently posted this on the general forum when i thought i was in here but here it goes.

Is any running with an aftermarket BOV like a Greddy or others? whats your setup like and how well does it work?

I ordered a Greddy S with the mounting flange and 19mm adapter which should be coming Mid-November.

As far as it working, do you plug the hole in the pipe that runs into the Turbo and then run rich at a certain point? A friend said this was minimal and nothing to worry about or does anyone have a different opinon? Any imput is GREAT.
Thx
Mark

Yes, you will need to plug the hole in the 'J' boot that the old bypass valve connected to.
I tried this for a while, just for kicks and it ran fine. I noticed no difference , for or
against. I got tired of the sound so went back to the stock bypass valve.

I cant remember if its 1 inch or 7/8 dia but you can probably find a plug to fit the hole at a hardware store.
Make sure its clamped well, you dont want it sucked into the turbo. Thats why I made a plug with a shoulder so theres no chance of it getting loose and sucked in.

The greddy type S can be recirced. that is the smart thing to do. You will probably still get the sound, but the benefits of recirc. The Greddy is extremely loud so recircing even with the flapper you will probably here it. Just my .02

No prob, I have a buddy that has it on his 240 SX. He is wanting to recirc his. It will take some engineering to get a hose back to the J-boot. Anyways, hope that helped.
