Mike: That is ashame what happend to your father's car. It's hard to tell, but is that Baltic Blue? If so, I love that color. Blue 944Ts are like next to impossible to find these days! Is that his 968 in the left-left side too? If so, it looks blue too? Beautiful cars. On a personal note pal, you do suck at taking photos!

yes, the blue '89 turbo was baltic. the 968 coupe is iris blue. my turbo is azure blue. my truck is dark blue and so is my fathers 4runner. i think we like blue vehicles too hard to find another stock blue '89 so he got black/black, which is cool enough i guess lol

his 968 cab is white, but the interior and top are blue

For the record, the shop that crashed the blue car is not our Porsche shop. It was the local place he has gone to for years and years for oil changes and routine work on other cars. He still goes there even after they settled. The owner/insurance took care of him and everybody has moved on.

here is one of the few pics I have with our blue 951's together . . . back on topic

David,

How exactly was that done? It doesnt looks as if the vents are grafted in, but instead as if they were cut into the factory hood. Is that correct? Do you mind if I ask how much something like that costs before paint?

Thanks.

I don't have a way to check the under hood temps.

Thought about tapeing a few streamers under the hood and see if they would flow out the louvers, if they do then hot air would be flowing out.

You mean to tell me you don't have any "empirical" data to back that investment up? My God, our buddy NZ951 would grill you to death!

Just going for the "BLING" A 7 foot wing going on next

I figure with most "real" race cars having hood vents, should work for me.

There is a local wind tunnel here, but hard to get in, Air Force keeps it booked
