550i vs 951
Well the shop that was "working" on the 951 let her sit outside and somehow a bunch of water got into behind the wheel wells in the rear, and there was a lot of mold that built up. So needless to say I stripped the interior and have yet to install the new dash and cage, not to mention a problem with the broadfoot nose fitment. Should have the mirrors and handles on shortly (too much for my skill)...but enjoy guys
PS the GT3 seat with 996 sliders practically bolted right in when i installed it, i just had to apply a small amount of force to make the front right bolt go into the stock floor mount point.

Guns, it may not have been their fault. If the rear lights aren't sealed, they will let water into that area. The originallights back there, used some sort of a caulk like seal. I don't know what the hell it's made of, but you can't miss it's pressece if you try to remove the lense assemblies.
The question then becomes what material can we use to fix the problem? Why don't you start a thread to find out. I'd like to know as well.
Glad you got back from Afghanistan with all your parts. The car looks good! Both!

Hatch Latch Leak
Well the leak was from the hatch latches, it went through those drainage holes in the spoiler, then down and through the latches dripping right through to those spots behind the rear wheel wells. The shop was supposed to keep the car indoors, but among other things they were sub par. Glad you like the cars, and I'm back in AFG now, back to the salt mines yeah? I'll post when the mirrors and handles make it on.

My new 951
Well Here she is a 1987 951 with the factory special wheels. She is a "Fast mover" no doubt
Soon to have Full Power leather seats removed and M-Option 383 & 387 "full leather" installed. Then have the regular tranny removed and M-option 220 tranny installed. As well as Option CO3 removed and "SchnellerUmsetzer" option cat bypass installed!
As well and Cross drilled rotors & Full Koni Upgrade. This little gal is going back to GM for for some autobahn fun!

Guns, I like the flares but I hope you plan on flushing out the side markers and going with the euro ones. Personally I think the flares just overlapping on the lights looks TERRIBLE.

Someone on here said it would be cool to have a place to put all these pictures. So I made up this site:
http://pcarz.com
It's just a fun site I do in my part time and you can put up 25 pictures on your profile.
Let me know what you think but don't be too harsh.

With the rest of the mods I'm doing, Lexan everything except windshield, carbon doors from GT racing etc...I doubt she'll see much street time. Its officially the "fun" car, I just let my imagination go wild with it. Probably just a DE car with the occasional street runs for beer!
