Silver Rose, what year is your car? if its an 88-89 and the stock color, it looks like Maraschino Red (spelling?)

 

The car is a 88 turbo s it was changed from its original colour of silver rose to the colour it is now,the previous owner did this.I would have liked to have changed it back to the original colour,but 3 years ago their was an add placed in 911&porscheworld for owners of 944 turbo s cars to attend the independent porsche club show that year,they were trying to see how many of these cars were left in the U.K.Their had been only 70 of these cars brought into the U.K.in 1988.We went along to the show that year and I have to say that my mind was put at rest as reguards the colour,yes to the purest I got one or two negitive comments but the over whelming response was the car looked great so I kept the colour.I have had to have a couple of things painted ie cup mirrors,door handles,rear spoiler,the paint was matched at a paint shop the colour they came up with as I have already said in a previous post was a motorbike colour Yamaha candy red.

What are the sizes of your wheels/tires? Looks like you've got it just about perfect for the turbo wheels.

I'm not sure about the width of the wheel (8", 6"?), but the tire widths were 265 back and 225 in front when those pictures were taken. Right now I have 235 in the front... I have to fix my faulty power steering this winter!! The wheels are 18"s.

its an 86. its got an apexi boost controller, LR dual port wastegate, wrapped exhaust, turbo beany, 944 s crownwheel and pinion, 80% motorsport limited slip diff. 968 clubsport seats, 968 clubsport front koni shocks with tri-rate springs, 968 clubsport rear koni shocks with the helper springs, 968 m030 sway bars- 30mm on front 19mm on the back, as you can see polished inlet manifold, intercooler pipes and cam box, momo steering wheel, razo shift **** with our short shift kit, 3 inch stainless steel mandrel bend exhaust, two sets of simmons FR17 wheels. one set is polished 17 inch with 7s on the front and 9s on the back and the other set are polished 17inch with 9s on the front and 10s on the back. 968 mirrors. i cant think of anything else
