Just that you in the US didn't get 'em

It seems that in '91 Porsche cleaned out the shelves and therefore some '91 has options not found on earlier models.

Nice car!
BTW do you have leather interior? If so, do you have stiches and real leather trim on the center consoll and on the doors?

However, some '90 and '91 951s were officially exported to the Canadian market. Just no 951 cabs.

You can tell them apart by the late spoiler and the M030-spec D90 wheels -7.5" fronts and 9" rears, like the ones on this French car.

The M030 wheels are forged, not cast like on this car.

This photos is *almost* up to date, except now the car is on jackstands and the bumper is off.

...and here is what it looks like all together (well atleast this past fall). Now the harnesses are in, and the stereo stuff is completely gone, and I'm working on some sort of door panels.

Some spectacular cars here. Seems every time a pics thread gets started, the cars seem better than ever.

A few gratuitous shots of mine follow. These are from the 2004 944SuperCup season. #11 won the championship.

Forged wheels were not available for M030 option in the 1990 and 1991 model years. Only cast D90s in 7.5" fronts and 9" rears (wider than ordinary cast D90s, which were 7" fronts and 8" rears).

Forged wheels (7" fronts and 9" rears) are specific to the 1988-1989 M030 option.

This is my first post, but I have been reading for a while now. I have had my car for about 3 years now and put about 6k miles on it in that time bringing it up to 74K. It's a work in progress, but puts a smile on my face everytime I drive it.

You're right! I hang around 88-89 cars to much
