Race Car
My '86 951. has pretty much everything from an '87 though. The only Porsche I still have. Still have to install the oem side skirts. Hood is not latched in photo. This was after pulling it out to let it run. I feel bad as it sits under a cover and doesnt come out much.

First Time Poster. Excited!!
1st Time Poster. Want to THANK everyone for all your great contribution & incredible photos of your incredible cars...My Porsche history; started with a Black '87 944S. Enjoyed the hell out of it for 3 years, meanwhile yearning for a turbo...eventually got a nice Guards Red 951 w/71K miles/one owner. Passing on the 944S to my brother. keeping it in the family!
For 5 years, I enjoyed/abused the hell out of the 951 with Autothority Stage 2 Chips and catback exhaust...til the modifying bug got to me...the rest was history. After a year of weekend labor by myself (my daily driver was a 3-Cylinder Geo Metro!!), the end result was a 310 WHP & 298 WTQ @17psi (2.5L, honed/recoated cylinders, Pauter rods, knife edged/lightened crank, full port polished head, extrude hone intake, Kokeln turbo/chips/injectors, 3" exhaust, etc. etc.) As this became a project car, I got another '86 951 as a daily driver, (still own, see pics). Rest of my 951 story and pics of my now sold project 951 (kept the modified engine!! see where this story is going!!) & my brother's current 951 later (there is a lot more of it), hopefully with accommodating pics. Confused Yet?? That's a total of FOUR 944's, TWO 951's & ONE 951 engine still remaining!!
EXCITED to finally advance from a lurker to an active participant on this AWESOME FORUM...

Porsche 944 Turbo SE Prototype (952, RHD)
A Rare one this, a Porsche 944 Turbo SE Prototype No. 9 of 12, and no, 2 of 4 right hand drive cars ever made.
The photo of the 3 people is one of all 3 owners of the car since it was new.
I'd love to hear from anyone if they know of the whereabouts of the remaining cars left in the world today, I need to find the 4 remaining LHD cars in the Americas.

I had OE seats in it for a while, when I was having the Recaros refurbished in Germany, then I got the seats back Shown in the pics, but I think something was lost in translation, as I asked for red piping on the edges, not stitching, and a proper seat badge, not the stitched type. so hence why they are now back in Germany being redone while the car is in storage. I'm told it will be about a month before I get them back again though.
