I actually 'expanded' on the standard cup holder. I was getting nervous because cups were tipping slightly during cornering. I added some depth and the red gaskets to hold cups more firmly.

Grabbed a few items from the plumbing dept over at Lowes/home depot for this.
Not the most beautiful project, but works perfectly.

ACL heat shielding. Comes in sheets of about a metre long. easy to cut and shape
