Cyrus, I was actually going to dyno the 82, but would like to dyno the GTS also. I did some work to the 82 and need to dial in the A/F mixture. I was thinking though, if I could get the GTS dynoed also as a baseline for future mods, that would be great.

...just in case someone doesn't show...which is pretty common.

Thanks!

Cyrus -- never mind on my time frame. I decided to take it slow and go ahead and take that redeye out. As long as I'm not stuck there until the evening, I'll be fine.

UPDATE:

Paul called me today and told me the AWD part of the dyno is broken, and while it's broken, the 2WD dyno can not operate either. The dyno is a single unit that can handle both AWD and 2WD cars, if one is broken, so is the other. I was on the phone with Paul for a while trying to figure out what is wrong with it, he called DynoJet, and they'll stop by and have it fixed early next week. There's nothing I can do, I really did try to get this to work. A broken dyno is a broken dyno.
We are forced to reschedule, please let me know when you are free.
I will contact everyone by phone tomorrow and let them know. But the good news is that we have given Eyal, and Brendan more time to fix their cars so they can participate.

Please post a Saturday that you are free.

12/11
12/18
12/25 - XMAS, I'm Busy
1/01
1/08
1/15
1/22
1/29

There is still a chance that the dyno will be repaired by Saturday, a very very slim one. I'm not relying on it.

I am good for any weekend...'cept Xmas of course. I will be going to the big Barret -Jackson Auction in AZ in January, but forgot what weekend that is. I am good with just a post telling when the next one is. I will have the GTS and the 82 there.

...now I don't have to rush to get the new oil pan gasket in tomorrow on the GTS

I received your phone message, but am out of town, so if you decide on the 15th of January, it will be fine with me. I saw the post this am, and I forwarded it to my son and my friend Jeff. I will also be in Arizona for Barrett Jackson in January, so if you decide on that date, I won't be able to make it. Once you have a firm date, I'll let you know if it works for us

I'm probably good either 8th or 15th. I can firm my dates a little later in the month.
Thanks Cyrus951

Thanks again for Doing this Cyrus. As I said on the phone, most any weekend in January is just fine. Going in today to hopefully trim down the spring seats a bit, assemble heads, and INSTALL THEM.

Is 15th what your leaning towards? 10 days before my 21'st, sounds good to me.

Damn it -- I just look at my calendar and someone had scheduled a committee meeting for that Saturday (Jan 15). Who the @%$! schedules a meeting on a Saturday?

Cyrus, you'll have to put me on the "can't make it column" -- sounds like 15th works for everyoneelse, and I don't want to be a constraint. Maybe the meeting will only be only half a day...
