I want to thank Cyrus for putting this together. We got there with 2 928's and were the first ones to have them dynoed. Looks like We were the guinea pigs as the guys had never dynoed P cars before. The GTS hit the spool first and it took a little practice for the tech to find the right gears. I just wanted a baseline before I did any mods to this car. It spooled up FAST to the rev limiter. I had to laugh though, one of the first runs he shifted it from 2nd to 5th and ran the car up to 160 mph and the tach wasn't even close to 6K. He jumped out and noted how TALL the gears were. I told him there was no way he was in 3rd...LOL. We both had a good laugh over that. It was interesting though how fast it got to 160 on the spool. I was happy though for a stock engine, best run was 280.7 hp at the rear wheels with 279.1 ft lbs of torque.

The 82 car was a nice improvement over the stock configuration from a year ago. Best stock numbers last year was 170.3 hp/222.4 ft lbs. After the mods, 185.9 hp/ 230 ft lbs with just bolt ons.

Thanks to all for waiting a few more minutes for me to dial in the A/F mixture.

Sorry we had to head out early, but we had other commitments. Hope all went went with the rest of the cars!

Thanks Cyrus for the opportunity to Dyno the cars. I didn't do my 928, due to the check engine light coming on. My son's 68 Camaro Dyno'd at 249hp with 349 Ft lb of torque. The real surprise was the ZO6, Jeff's Vette turned 363 hp with 381ft lb of torque, at 170+ mph Thanks again Cyrus, fun was had by all

Hi Guys, nice to meet you all.
My Turbo blew it's AWD viscous coupler on my turn, so I'm a little bummed out right now. Ka-CHING

Here is my 5th gear pull. 437.7 Torque and 402.7 Horsepower.

Wow Scott, those are some sweet numbers. Have you done any mods to the car or is it stock? I wish we could have stuck around for the whole day, but couldn't. Being that my car was the first one on the roller, I think there may have been a learning curve for the tech. Although, I don't think the numbers I got would have been a whole lot better than what we came up with. I just wanted a baseline to see where the car was before i tear into it. I am in Simi Valley, and don't know if I have seen your car around these parts. Congrats, but sorry to hear about the viscous coupling.

Scott Mellor

What's up with the huge power drop then pick up? (like 75RWHP).

While the numbers look good, the dyno run shows some clear problems.

What turbos are you using? (which specific compressors, compressor wheels, turbine housings and turbine wheels).
