Porsche 968 Club Sport come up for sale...
I am seriously thinking of selling my 951 and turbo charging the 968 CS. Its speed yellow and would be a quick car...
I would need...
Intake
Intercooler + pipes
Turbo
Link Computer (or similar)
Bigger injectors
Rods
Custom exhaust
BOV
WG
Anything else?
PS whats special about the CS?

I wish we got the 968CS in the states...
From what I hear (I'm sure someone will correct any mistakes) ---
* super light -- lightweight Recaro seats, cool no airbag steering wheel, manual mirrors, no power rear hatch release, no rear wipers, manual windows, no alarm, even a smaller radiator fan.
* M030 and LSD as standard
* color-matched rear spoilers and color-matched wheels
* lowered ride height
Oh man, and if you Turbo charge it... drool....

I did some research you are right about the specs, also should have no sunroof. I have put so much into the 951 it would be hard to start fresh again. But it would be a very sweet ride... there is also a 968 6 speed cab here for sale. I just love the 968 ***. I dont want mad HP 4-500 would be fine
I will wait and see the price of the CS. Then make a call...

M030 was not standard on the CS. And LSD was not part of the M030-package.
There were also many CS's made without the bucket seats, and you could also add many of the comfort features if you wished.
Other things you need for the engine is custom headers and crossover or custom flanges to the OEM headers to fit 951-crossover. You need 951-engine mount with turbo mount, you need to tap the upper balance shaft case and oil pan to get oil for the turbo etc.

Fitzgerald racing in Melbourne have done some of these conversions if u need more data on going this direction. ALso saw one of them in at Weltmeisters for a service i guess. Might be worthwhile asking around about what they trade for (is it easy to move cars AUS <-> NZ ?)

EVO magazine over here has the CS heavier (1335kg) than the S2 (1312Kg) The turbo weighs in at (1399kg). Fit lightweight seats and remove the back seat upper half (2 or 4 bolts) from a turbo and you are going to be close to a CS with a turbo plus extra plumbing.
The CS seats are relatively heavy for 'lightweight' items.
