It's late, so I'll try to answer some of the questions..

On my race car, for few years I ran the Stage 2, then I went to the stage 3.. I'm more concerned with the average HP/TQ (or the largest area under the curve) much more that peak numbers. As you might have noticed, I'm working on a new Stage 3 turbo SPECIALTOOL has it. The goal was to lower lag while maintaining high performance.. We shall see the results soon.

Some people want maximum HP/TQ and care less about lag. They want their power curve 4000rpm on up. Others (myself included) I prefer HP/TQ early in the RPM range.. Hopefully we can fine tune a turbo that does both...

I'll be away on the track for few days... I doubt I'll be checking the computer while doing 140+mph

John, 790 buck for what? Also, has anyone attempted to put the MAP ECU on their car? For $800 you cant beat it, like a full standalone with little instalation. I wish AEM would make an EMS for this car, Motec and Haltec ones are really expensive. I will go with a standalone, forget them chips

Looks like a basic parameters tool, the problem is that you cant modify anything! Any standalone has the same thing, for $790 ill pass. Its more piggyback/chip crap, if you want something usefull go with a full standalone.

its for people that want to know exactly what's doing what on DME & KLR setup and be able to make adjustment's with wideband and see how things are turning out. In otherwords for someone like me its perfect. Question would be how user friendly is it.

Here are a couple of pictures of a set-up we designed that will allow you to bolt up a GT, T-3 or T-4 series turbo to a 951.With this particular set-up you can bolt the SFR crossover to your stock headers or any other aftermarket headers including our stage 1 headers.

We can also modify the turbine outlet for a V-band clamp assembly to make removing the turbo much easier.

There 2 products. The Motronic Monitor which allows you to Monitor and data log the various engine parameters. Then there is the Motronic Editor, which turns your DME/KLR to a standalone system.

So Monitor is to monitor, Editor is to Edit... The both work together, so you can monitor & Modify the maps...

$4.00 a gallon is damn cheap, in UK we pay $8.00 a gallon for regular goat ****. We have Shell Optimax which is about 97 octane but thats nearer $9.00 a gallon. You guys in US have got it made How would you fancy $100 to fill the tank?
