Car just doesn't seem fast
It seems like dyno figures just doesn't represent how quick the car is on the street. I have copies of the dyno results, and they are on rennlist. The car put down something like 330rwhp at 18 psi, but god damn it just doesn't feel like 300hp. I've driven a couple of 951's, including a couple of modded rennlister cars, and they are totally different power wise. I drove an 89 turbo S, and even though the turbo was smaller than the current one I have it was a totally different car. When the boost hit at 3500 you can feel it in your neck. It gives you that neck snapping feeling. As for mine, I just don't notice it. My friends notice it, but I don't. I usually have to be around 4k rpms to really get the turbo to kick in w/o lag.
What do you guys think? Is this just a mental thing?

its all in yerr head..well,kinda....ur just prolly used to the pull of your car.and theres only one way to fix it!GO FASTER!samething happend to me....id drive my friends around and punch it WOT and there grabbing the doors like their life depended on it and im looking at them like.....what are you guys doing!hahahaha i guess the body gets used to it after a while....

I must be getting too used to it. But I don't know what more I can do to upgrade the car.

You've gotten used to it. I remember when I first got my stock 951, I thought it was so fast over my stock NA. Then I chipped the car, and wow! It was SO fast. Now, after 350rwhp...it doesnt feel fast to me at all...

Randy, amen brother.
When my 951 was stock running on LBE at 13psi I thought it was sooo fast...I was running right with new ls1's and wupping up on my dad's 928s4 and putting it to the GT and Cobra guy's on a regular basis.
Now I make stock C5 vette's look like civic's and my car feel's slow as ****.
I bet even when I get my 650rwhp supra after a while it won't feel that fast either. Your mind and body just get used to it.
I call it the HP curse. It hit's us all and, kind of takes the fun outta it. I have to keep modding the car just to get the same feeling as I once did when I was stock. It's sad and kill's some of the fun I think. I can't wait until I have another car again so I can switch between the two and the effect won't be so bad. I can just not drive the car for 2 weeks and get in it and have fun again like I used too.

Yes, i agree with Porschhh951 here. My car is stock and man i though it was quick as hell.......
Now, even on 2nd gear, i feel it being slow. Just yesterday afternoon, after work, my college got in the car. I hit 3rd gear when doing 100kms/hr (62mph) and pulled to ~140kms/hr (90mph), he got a shock on how fast the car got there and how it pulled. I on the other hand, coudnt feel jack $****.......
Though i am restoring the car (paint job/interior), im saving up on purchasing a number of upgrades all at once (Turbocharger, mapped chips, WG, injectors and so on) to reach my goal of ~350whp.
After that, when i get used to it , just live with it untill i graduate and start working full time. When it's time for a rebuild, that would be my main focus, hitting 500whp or so
