Default KLR Question

Hi Guys,
If we are running our car with upgraded chips,
can we still perform diagnostic test using the
blink codes ?

Thanks

its been awhile - I used my multimeter. Just count how many times you get a DC flash, same thing. Just cant remember which sockets the posts go into - its on here somewhere.

J Chen, I've got a procedure on how to read teh LED blink-codes on my RacerX website. The output is low-voltage for an LED, so no need to use an inline resistor. The only thing to watch out for is orienting the cathode & anode to the correct pins on the test-port.

okay, another dumb question;

why does the location for the positive LED connection socket differ between the lindsey site and the racerx site? racerx shows the connections to be the two closest to the offset socket while lindsey shows the positive plugged in one spot over.

also, is it possible to not get any blinks at all or is that uncommon?

Thanks Guys,
BTW, silly question. How do you read the blink codes ?
I read in Danno's site theres 2-1,2-2, 3-1 & so on.
Does 2-1 means 2 blinks followed by short pause &
than another blink ?

I wish someone would just make a little device for this and sell it on EBAY.
I'd buy one. Don't have the time to screw with making one myself.
Danno? TurboTim? Scott from KLA? Buehler, Buehler?
