Cannot help with the shifter **** issue. The Momo **** only works on shift levers designed for it. The factory lever is not, from what I understand.

well my shift **** doesnt rattle because theres a rubber insert that goes around the shift rod before putting on the shift ****.if not try wrapping the shift rod w/electrical tape to keep it from rocking back and forth...heres a pix of mine..
