In a bind...944 cat-back for sale, TX.
Well...I run a company called Shattered Glass Works. I make headers and exhaust systems for various cars. Well, it's my girl's birthday and I spent more money than I should have on her and I don't have the money to ship out a couple orders on time...and my orders have been VERY delayed lately so I need to get these out or I promised a refund. So...lol...I'm in a bind.
So here's the thing...I want to sell one cat-back to a member here. I think it'd help me get my name out in this community, and it'd help my above mentioned situation. I will make it for either the 944 or 951 with the standard issue US bumper (I don't know how the exhausts will fit a euro or aftermarket).
The 944 setup will be 2.5", and the 951 will be 3". Both setups will be straight tubing, no mufflers or resonators or silencers, right out the exit point. You can have a welding/muffler shop weld in a muffler if you like. However, I can use the muffler of your choice for an additional fee. Or I can build you a setup like mine using an Apex'i N1 knockoff.
944, aluminized: $135 + shipping.
944, stainless: $205 + shipping (stainless is expensive)
951, aluminized: $135 + shippping
951, stainless: $185 + shipping
For $75 more I'll put in an N1 knockoff...which they sound good on those cars and work well.
So, let me know. I would like to sell to a senior member here, if possible...but beggers can't be choosers and I'm kinna begging..lol....
Thanks!

my recommendation varies per application. The absolute BEST setup for a 951 is a straight pipe...by "best" I mean "maximum obtainable performance". Second to that is a can muffler like the Apex'i N1 (or knock off) like mentioned. The N1 knock off is my preference, unless it's a track car.
However, I hear good things about magnaflow...but it's not my preference. The only 944/51 exhaust I've seen personally is the Lindsey exhaust and it had a flowmaster on it...they apparently recommend the flowmaster. I will not touch a flowmaster product ever again.
And "yes"...all my products are mandrel bent.

Yeah...turbo cars sound kickass without a muffler...and they run better. Hell...a lot of turbo cars today are coming out with no mufflers from the factory (SRT-4, prime example).

well, I don't have a 951 to test fit a mid-pipe or I would love to. I'm using a 944 to fit the setup, just using a 951 flange to mate it.
I "could" make a setup that runs all the way to the down pipe, and you could have a welding/muffler shop finnish it. It'd be pretty inexpensive and I'll include two extra flanges to do it.

$120 to $140 for the #14835. Using that muffler, I could do the catback for $300 shipped...from what's out there I've seen that's an amazing deal for the 951. Might get a few buks back, depending on shipping costs.
