I'm shopping for a 951 as well....have been following your auction...it is a lovely example of a well-kempt 951. ~$7-7.5k might be doable. BTW, I enjoyed visiting your webiste...great shots of Hawaii from the Cessna!

Thanks for the feedback. The price has been changed on the auction according to your feedback here. The pictures of the car really don't do it justice, it is in really really awesome condition and I hate to see it go.

The car is located where they salt the roads(IL), however the good news is that it has been here for under 2 months, and hasn't seen ANY winters at all. This was a 100% west coast(CA, OR) car since it was purchased in '86.

The car is really worth every penny.

Tuk - You are a guy after my own heart. I used to own an '81 528i(E12) before the 951. Great cars.

Does the car have LSD, and are there any mods like chips or boost enhancer? Hows compression on the motor and does it need anything in the near future?

Also, would you have any way to get the car closer to me without to much trouble, like relatives farther south or something to shorten up my drive?

The car does not have LSD, and is completely stock. 0 mods besides the aftermarket Alpine head unit. The car does come with Iceshark's lighting system uninstalled.

Have not done a compression test on the motor, however judging by the way the car runs everything looks good. As of right now, the car runs perfectly and I wouldn't have a problem driving it anywhere in the country. As noted on the ebay auction there is a small exhaust leak when the car is still cold, and some suspension noise on the front. Both do not negatively affect performance and I would categorize them as being minor problems.
