Default 944 Short Shift Kit GROUP BUY! (xpost)

Hello everyone!

Just wondering if anyone is interested in a group buy on a short shift kit?
The kit is available for $85 (if we can get 10 or more people in) and is the type that attaches to the transaxle. 944Racing produces these kits and they are top quality.

Anyone interested?

Dal.

Dal,

A lot of people on both these and the 944 forum seem interested.
Maybe we can get a bigger group and a better discount?

They sell for $110 or so normally, I think that $85 is a pretty good deal, no?

i just bought mine for 100 bucks off ebay from 944 raccing. IT is SOOOO sweet!! It was a bitch and a half to install but well worth it! Just drove it today for the first time. So different, it is notchy, and more difficult to ****. Short though. 85 bucks is really cheap, go for it. Too bad i already got mine, but then again, i dont have to wait!

Interesting, but are you sure this is related to the short shifter? You might want to consult your doctor about this one.

EDIT: oh yea, I might be interested, but don't count on me.

does anyone know if they just shotened the shifter it self? coz i did cut my ****er lever by apprx. 1-1/2, yes it's shorter but the throw it self is the same. i used a dremel and cut slots in it for the vretaining clip when you mentioned trans axle, do you mean, the tube that the shifter is bolted onto? also does it come with a new shift **** and boot? or do i ahve to re-use the current shfiter?

ok, oops for cutting but it saved me some $$$. though it's not a true ssk.
just went on the 944racing site and saw the kit, looks like it attached to the transmission and you gotta drop the tranny to do it. is that the item for the group buy? or is it what i think it is and that is the shifter, **** and boot?
