"he is a rich man who can afford a cheap porsche"
that being said, http://boston.craigslist.org/car/38847270.html seemed like a good price to me, got some stupid stereo crap (but you could sell for $$ if so motivated), and needs a clutch, so not really that great of a value, maybe you can talk him down a bit cause of the clutch. anyway, that's all i've got

P-Car on the cheap
I was in your predicament, a week ago. Thanks to an alert Rennlister- I was able to pounce on a fair 86' turbo.....for $1,380! **NOT A TYPO** The previous owner is a student, who wanted to cut his maintenence losses, and show up for classes in this years' apparel.
The guards' red/black leather is in so-so condition, up close. From afar- it looks like a hot blonde, in a red mini-skirt. The engine leaks three kinds of fluid: oil, coolant, and brake fluid. Lots of it too. I carry not trash in the car- but containers for refilling the thirsty 951. As long as "she" is topped-off constantly, the motor is remarkably healthy and robust, at 176k. Oddly, for being bad on fluid retention- the engine is airtight, on the vacuum readings. The boost still feels factory-fresh, with alot of G-inspiring pull. Due to a previous t-boning, the drivers side fender, door, and front strut will need to be replaced. The low-budget, mobile auto body work is embarrassingly unacceptable.
The shifter is springy, and recoil is instant. The factory re-indexed torsion bars look and ride like the 944 Turbo Cup cars. I can easily whip the car to a sweeping on-ramp, at 70mph. Yes- this introduction-to-boost is going to be a fun one, indeed! Good luck in your search...be tenacious!

There is a 951 for sale in Philadelphia with lots of goodies, and running for 5K. New paint, 18" wheels, ect.
He has posted here so just look back and see if you can find it, I think that the turbo had some problems.
