Oh man dude, stop teasing us take that girl to a dyno and show us some figures. I am really interested in knowing at what RPM you hit full boost.

I am currently deciding on whether I want a GT25 or GT30 and whether the ball bearing upgrade is worth it or not. HMMMMM

Thanks David.
johne, I did go do a small dyno tuning session but i was chassing A/F spikes and did not get a good run on it.
But it logged 5psi at 2400 rpm, 10psi at 3200 and 15psi at 3500 rpm.
I hope to be able to tune it out and go back to the dyno soon.

Question

Hi Edman951,
I was gonna go for a GT30 myself but ended up with a T61 60-1 HIFI
What kind of performance are you getting from the GT30??
Go on convince me I went the wrong way
Cheers
Tom

Are you using any boost controller? Because from the sounds of it free revving, that thing sounds like it'll spool quicker than that!

I dont hear the turbo, I just hear your intake and that your balance shaft belt is too tight....

Sounds good though

Awsome, Did you get the turbo as part of a kit for 951 or did you fit it from scratch?

TIA

Rage,
Yes i use a profec B for BC.
I think that this turbo will spool up to 15psi faster once i get it tuned better from 2500 rpm to 4500 rpm.
And lean out the top end.
I have a video of my late's session and you can clearlly hear the motor struggling to get to mid range.
Here listen to it yourself.
