if someone would post my vid it shows me racing my friends VR-4 3 times at the drags. He wasn't pulling under 2.0 60ft times launching. I have the video downloaded except it told me i wasn't a member to post on the up photo option. Hopefully they fixed it and i will post the vid unless i can i send it to someone that will post it. I think i got a 2.5 or 2.4 without even launching because of my clutch so 2.1 is very obtainable.

If you are a member, host in the member sites section. It took me about ten minutes to set up.

I dont think 2.1 is VERY attainable, wait till you get out there... My mates running mid to late 1's are in reasonably modded EVO's and VR4's. Yes they are 4WD. And yes they are very very quick off the line. They will run very very low 12's at 110mph easy.

We have a drag strip down in Um Al Quwain ( a city 80miles or so from Dubai). You should see what cars they drag, and i mean you SHOULD see what they drag.

They drag SUV's (old nissan patrols, pathfinders, landcruisers supras, evos etc). We have this local guy who spent $372,000 on his HIGH modded supraTT. Car came from germany after heavy engine mods, then went off to Japan for chassis mods.

Anyway, he hits a 1/4 miles (with nitros) in 6.48 seconds officially times as well. He hits 1/4 miles in 8.34 seconds without nitros. But you should see that car, it never leaves the track, there is literally no steering (just 1 degree left or right).

I know this is off topic, but i was really suprised when i saw the time (and th ecar )

On my first attempt ever I got 2.3 sec 60 ft. That was on a regular road with pretty old 255's street tires.
I would say 2.1 should be quite attainable with stickier tires and most importantly on a real strip with track bite.

I'm running 2.1's now for 60ft times on the same Kumho street tires. I'd say low and mid range torque helped that more than anything. A well tuned T04E with a #6 compressor housing 951 should do the trick.

315 nitto drag radials, yes they do fit trust me. I went 13.20 with a 1.90 short time with just the k-26 europroducts chips sfr cat back and 22psi in the higher gears. it's all in the launch. I've 12.70 109 with the k-27 and the europroducts chips. get a spec clutch. beware I've broken he stub axles in the tranny several CV's and the crosspin throught hte original diff. never at the track but from similar abuse none the less. I went to a limited slip and a 944 ring and pinion as well as they are geared differently.

12.5 1/4 at 117 with 1.9 60 Ft. Here is the web site http://www.puppan.se/ Our cars can run high 1'S 60 foot we just are not good at launching. If the Axels can handle the Power with traction we can can get mid 1"s its all about traction and not breaking we have the power.

But since Gtech isn't reliable, did anyone tried using these:

Beltronics Makers of the Vector FX1/FX2

Extreme GEEZ! Makers of the G-Cube

Escort Makers of the Passport G-Timer

Or are ALL of them lie like the Gtech pro?

They all operate on the same principals of physics and most likely use similar sensor. You input the weight of your car, it has an accelermeter, give it the 1/4 mile signal (however it works, push a button or whatever, I dont know) and then from all that using basic physics calculations it can figure out the unknown, your horsepower.

They all have to work similarly, so they should all have similar weaknesses. The only way around it would be through more advanced programs, have some sort of option for suspension hardness or make it measure squat and calculate that in somehow.

the 315's were on some twin turbo wheels I had, late offset on my early offset car with some spacers of rather strange dimensions
