Screw this, how to get 1/4 mile times down with mods?

For refference on the trap I think someone tried comparing their camero to the 951. You can't. Two completely different car's and what time's and trap's for one wont for another. Even if you were to trap the same the car's get there very differently and have very different obsticals to overcome.
When was was on shims and LBE I ran a 14.01 @99mph. With a 2.3 60ft.
Like I said before trap is everything in the telling of hp.....and even if you slip your *** all over your trap should be much much higher so that's why I am confused. I plan on hitting the track again after my turbo and head upgrade.....I would think maybe 117-120mph range on race gas and high boost. We will just have to see.
everyone knows our car's cost money to drag but, you can do it. Andrew get yourself some Dr's, practice some and you should be trapping mid to upper teen's no problem regardless of your time.
BTW how much boost are you running? 18psi?

Our cars make more power on the last part of the track due to the turbo, so they should have a high mph comared to a non-turbo car with a similar E.T. So a slow 60 foot time isn't a bad sign, but try to get in the 2.0 range....well as close as possible without breaking something.

Yeah I was running 18.5psi.
The link can hold as many different MAPS as you laptop can store, probably several million. Funny people should mention No2
I have a business thing in the works where this many be a reality in a few months.

Okay okay,
i know Gtech isn't SO reliable. But here, in DUbai, because of just 4% taxes, everyone is raising prices and making 200~500% profits on whatever they sell/make. A dyno run here costs $150 for ONE run, and another shop (over 50miles away from me) wants $205 per run. So, i need something like the Gtech.
But since Gtech isn't reliable, did anyone tried using these:
Beltronics Makers of the Vector FX1/FX2
Extreme GEEZ! Makers of the G-Cube
Escort Makers of the Passport G-Timer
Or are ALL of them lie like the Gtech pro?

Yeah, the G-Tech times are pretty off. When one's at the track you get the REAL deal...taking off, reaction time, and 60 foot times. The G-Tech might be helpful in tracking your own performance with new mods and stuff.

My only outing at a drag strip was a dismal letdown. There were several layers of goo on the launch pad that made it entirely too sticky. I tried launching at about 4500 and slipping the clutch but it still caught and bogged badly before the boost caught up. Launching on the street was completely different.
Changing the ring and pinon would to wonders for quarter mile times. Unfortunatly, I've yet to find anyone that sells one in the extra strength material. I've heard that an S2 tranny is a good compromise.
If I were to try and set some decent 1/4 times, I would start with the gear ratio, possibly going to a 15" low profile tire. Next would be something to get the turbo to spool quicker, possibly a fogger system.
What year were those 15" phone dials that still fit over stock brakes?
