FYI, this car is back up on ebay.

I really have to get my ducks in a row for trading my Tacoma in for a 951. I want to be able to bid on cars like this!

Does anyone know about this car. I might be interested in it, but why is it up again. Any ideas?

I looked seriously at the car - its very nice, with, as you can see, tons of mods and "enhancements". My problem was his asking price (reserve) is too high for me: I think he's trying to get around $12K for the car, and he hasn't gotten that kind of bid from eBay. If I remember correctly, he's only gotten bids of around $8.5K so far.

Default Mileage may be too high

though I sold my '86 951 completely stock with 70K miles for $12,000 not too long ago. I would think it would sell without a problem at that price.

How much?

How many miles?

Engine pics?

Maintenance? (besides mods)

Hey....

I'm pretty happy with my 911 right now.... but the thing about boost... It's hard to escape (analagous to the crack pipe I would suppose)....

The car seems nice.

You just never know..... I might have to pick one up (actually.. I've been working on a few for track purposes lately.. all mild K27/6 cars..).

The problem is that the car is in Florida. I would pay 10k for the car here locally, but it would cost me 1k to get it back, thus I would only be willing to spend 9k for the car... which I'm sure he's looking to get more for it....

Hey guys thanks for all the nice words. Sorry to all the people that I did not get back to there was so much response to sell ir was crazy.I was able to weed out the tire kickers and find a buyer that paid top dollar for a top knotch car. Everyone who missed out on this one stand by I will be selling more in the near future all great super cars.E-bay is a nice tool to help find a buyer, it is world wide advertizing for $40.00 , but it is bad place to sell a car like this no one wants to pay what a nice car is worth they all want just to find a steel.

Wow, what other cars do you have? That 951 was very nice. Is this a personal collection or are you a dealer?

Yeah RaceBryce,
What tifosimon said...are selling some of those cars in your sig?
I'm searching for a clean, well-sorted 951...gotta sell my 928s4 first, however.
Best,
Tim

ps.
The 951 in this thread is really well done...heavily modified, but tastefully so...not "riced out".
