Poor boxster... That GT-R was pretty bad ***, i've never seen one on the circuit track.. Usually I hear about them on the 1/4 mile because that's what most jap car fans are into... But it seems the M3 progressed once the driver seemed to get use to it, at the beginning he was cursing the car, and by the end he said, "This engine is great!"

Have any of you seen the race between the top JDMs, (Evo, NSX and R34) vs the 360 Modena, 911 Turbo and the Z51 Corvette? The R34 and Evo surpisingly kept up with the 911 Turbo (though the Turbo pulled slowly on the straights).. Granted the Evo would likley never beat these two cars, just the fact it was able to hang with them around the track i found most impressive.

I really dont find it surprising, I am in a Jap dominated market and often get my *** handed to me by modded jap cars. They are light do to the panels being made from rice.

Nice m3 vid, I would have been a flash right between the two of them, and your's songzzz, would rip mine apart!
but do you realize the kind of mods our cars would need to keep up with a turbo m3???
I will proabley have one some day. Mmm turbo goodness.

I really do not see how the 350Z could perform like that. I raced with my buddies 350Z AND S2000 on college, i barely lead the race from the start (yes i know i dropped the clutch quick, and shifted hard, but i had to ) and once i hit 160 (100mph) i pulled away with ease. I could not beat and M3 though, kept on pulling away from me (slowly but it pulled away). So i really do not see how that could happen for a 350Z to out perform and m3, but that driver sure sucked.

R 34 GTR-4 and M3 were the real performers there...the M3 driver didn't use the engine or brakes enough..the fact that he kept mentioning how impressed he was with them shows he was not using them fully....did NOT know how to turn..and again not enough engine use thru them...I now the track was wet but has traction controll to use..now pro's turn that off....M3 are not too uderrated maybe.......343 hp out of a 3.2L NA engine for the street...not bad..and they can touch on over 400 easyly..and in lightweight form...I would still choose that GT-R though..I wonder if the AE86 was 4WD?
