Default T04E or K27-DR

Ok I have finally narrowed down my next upgrade between the vitesse stage 2 and T04E turbo with quick spool or the Powerhaus K27-DR quick spool and MAF Kit. My final goal for my car is 350whp with the quickest spool possible because this is going to be my daily driver. Can you guys please give me some of your experiences with these and also on the install. Im plaing on ordering one of these real soon.

I've heard a lot of people say to stay away from the DR - trading a bit of power for a slightly better spool up

Forget the DR clipped wheel option.

Go straight to the K27/6 plain-jane option which is the best turbo on the market for a stock engined 951 where the user can live with 325rwhp-345rwhp.... it's also the least expensive!

More than that (HP wise)... look elsewhere...

K27/6? it would spool up REALLY fast right? unlike the K27/8? But both provide the same Boost holding capabilities? or does the K27/8 holds boost to redline due to larger hotside?

Can the 27/6 really support 325+? What boost level is required for that kind of power?

Out of all the turbos presented here, the K27/6 would be the best option. Has about a 500rpm earlier ramp-up of boost than the K27/8 or TO4E. If your power target was in the 400rwhp range, then the TO4E would be the choice for a little sacrifice in lag.

Most definitely, to get 325rwhp from K27/6, you just need 18-19psi and MAF/MAP upgrade. That's it.

when does the K27 start to fall outside of it's efficiency? 20 psi? 25 psi?

how much more air does the K27 flow? at 18-19 psi, would 55 #/hr injectors be adequate?

What is the best source for the K27/6 and is it as simple as just asking for a K27/6? Any more specs? What about the 7200 version? Prices?

Thanks,
Max

$500 and you can have a K6/6 rebuilt into a K27/6. Do a search, I can't remember the thread, but Tony G mentioned it a while ago.
