Default Got a job at Rennwerks

Well, I'm really excited, today I had my first day on the job at Rennwerks, a Porsche shop in Mountain View. The shop is amazing. They have 2 951 race cars, a GT3-R, an M3 Race car, and a lot of other cool stuff. Hopefully I'll tour with them to the race tracks for testing and such as soon as summer hits. This is the coolest job in the world for a 17 year old!

Their whole facility is top notch. They service BMWs and Porsches and have a very huge knowledge of the 944.

This is their 951 race car:

That's really cool. Keep your nose clean and all that rot...
Your living a dream!

So, does it still have the exhaust out the side?

Yeah, it's great, they also have a pile of tires out back that's huge! (500-600 tires) all at the tread limit, but perfect for auto-x. I'm going to ****** some of the Yoko A032Rs. But yeah, i'm real excited to work there.

can you ****** me some yokos too?

i would like them in 225's for 16" rims, and 245's for 16" rims. two of each please. i will pay shipping. if they are at there wear limit no big deal, because i would just like to try them out once. i will be using them for autocrossing, so if your boss says they are not for sale, just say they are going to be tested once in an autocross on a porsche=)

good luck with the job.... man your lucky!

Oh, you opened up a wormhole now....

I would delay those requests of your new employer for now. They may welcome getting rid of the tires, but you need to be seen as an asset first before you go making those requests. Walk softly Grasshopper...

(and I could use some 245x16 in anything)

Haha, i see everyone like cheap tires. Like Dan says, I don't want to look like a freeloader, so i'll slowly take from the pile. Hah!
