HI Edman,
Thank you again for your time
patience with me. Do you actually
have that much space between
the 2 flanges when view from the
sides ?
Lastly my turbo has a built in oil
restrictor. Do I need to add another
one at the oil feed line ? I was told
to use an oil line with an ID of 2mm.

I was quoted 1800 can for a gt25 about a year ago.

So who ever is paying 3000 us for that turbo is getting ripped off.

Thanks Pauerman,
I also agree with you Turbonetics has being making Garrett knock off for years. Turbonetics has even sold their crappy version of ballbearing turbo.
That only has a bearing on the compressor side.

JChen,
Yes there is about 1 inch of space. If you mesure the OD of the center section of your GT25 compared to your K26. You will see that their is a big difference.
For the oil restrictor i was not sure also. The turbo comes with one but compagny like ATP offer a added restrictor.
I ended up not putting a restrictor.
I had bought the ATP restrictor but i didn't use it because of the hose i used and also because i tough that the super small hole they have may be to restrictive.
Also Danno posted in the past that we have a 3mm restictor before the banjo bolt at the block.

Thanks again Edman. Now I think
I can adopt a better solution.
I hope the hot housing on my turbo
won't hit the engine mount cause
it's very small compared to what
you're using.

No problem J Chen,
Please inform me of what you end up doing.
2 minds are always better then one. Hope you find a good solution.

Also when it did my assembly i installed the turbo on the mount before installing the mount in the car. It was easyer to reach the bolt.
Be sure to support the motor.
Talk to you later
Eric

Not sure why people are getting bent out of shape, relax!
I am not trying to "say" anything, just stating what I have seen so far. I did not mean it in a bad manner. Just pointing out what I have seen.
I have no opinion if this is a good deal or a bad deal. Just stating what I have seen and basing it on what my turbo looks like and its specs.
