Default where does this go? cause of full boost problem?

just found this vacuum line completly ditatched from where it's supposed to be. all i could see was that it went straight down, not the direction i'm holding it for the photo. where does it go, and can it be the result of my engine stumbling and poping at full boost in third?

It connect to a vacuum line coming out the firewall. You should see it when you push some wires to the side. Not sure what it is.

That is for your heater controls. There is a connection on the fire wall that is hard to see and reach. The only way it would affect anything when on boost is if you have the check valve in backwards. I don't remember which way the check valve is suppose to face but if you turn the engine on you should feel suction on the tube, if not just switch the check valve around.

there is suction on the tube, i have never touched the check valve, and i just messed with the heater today and didnt understand why the air wasn't hot, geuss i know. So this isn't possibly responsible for anything boost related?

It shouldn't be as long as your check valve works. It is there to keep vacuum in the heater control circuit so you won't loose contol of your heat/AC when you are on boost. It will affect your idle though.

it affects AC too? cause thats been quite a bit warmer then the amazingly cold it used to be. where can i find exactly where to put it.

It affects the controls for the heater/AC to open vents and all that. To find where it goes you can trace the line from the heater control valve at the back of the engine and feel around where it connects on the fire wall there should be another connection for this other line.

That line shares a T coming off the intake-manifold with the FPR, fuel-dampener and CBV. So theoretically, it can leak some boost out, but the small diameter would make it such a minor leak that you'd never be able to tell. But, the change in vacuum/boost levels in that control line may affect the FPR, which would lead to incorrect air-fuel mixtures.

How can it leak some boost out? It is suppose to be a one way valve.
