Car cover wont stay on car in the wind!
I bought a Noah car cover specifically made for a 944 which fits well and keeps my car nice, clean and dry, but in heavy winds it blows up and off the front and rear of my car. The cable and lock hold the middle poart down but I can't keep the ends down. Anybody use a car cover that they like and stays on the car no matter what? I'm thinking if it had rubber straps to hook to the car on all 4 corners that would work, but I don't know if they make one like this or not? Any suggestions or recommendations on a new cover?

I have same situation w/ a cover I bought from Tweeks.
I haven't done this yet but have thought of gathering some of the excess material along the corners at the bottom and sewing them (sort of like pleats in pants). This should make the elastic bottom more snug as it wraps underneath the car. You'd probably need an industrial sewing machine since the material is kinda thick.
I have a dealer-purchased cover from my M3 that is so tight, I nearly have to rip the seams to get it on the car when the cover is cold. It's never blown off.

My heavy cotton fitted cover came from Tweeks, fits like a glove and never dances around in the wind.On the light weight one I used to own, I'd toss a strap under the car at mid-point connecting both sides to keep the air out. Mine never lifted at the ends unless the center part filled with air.

Go to HarbourFreight.com and buy a grommet set with the grommet intaller. $6 plus shipping. Put 1 on each corner sychronized with convienent places to bungie cord the cover from underneath the car. Order, at the same time, the correct length bungies and off you go.

Seeing as this is a relevant problem still, and it's already back from the dead...
See if there are any warehouses that deal with temp-controlled products near you and see if they'll give you some of their pallet-sized rubber bands, that hold the insulating blankets on a finished pallet. They are good and stretchy but soft and should be able to stretch around the rear bumper pretty well.

Other suggestions have been made in this thread that fix the problem.

Are you guys aware of anyone selling a specific 944 model car cover as opposed to a generic one?
For those above concerned about their paint you can get covers with an inner felt lining to protect against paint abrasion, although these are typically indoor-only covers.

I bought some small, cheap Harbor Freight nylon spring clamps similar to the below. I used these to hold the cover onto the trim under the rocker panels, the front bumper cover slats, and under the rear bumper. Quick to install and don't have to fish cords under the car.
