Do a quick search on Google, a number of sites have PDF manuals for the SAFC online, and there are a number of install and tuning writeups as well that are mainly for other cars, but the general concepts are the same for ours.

safc install
here is the link for the SAFC install. it took me like 30 minutes to install and about 2-3 hours to research the wires to use. i have done the hard work for you... now all you have to do is pull back the floor boards and start splicing in wires. the link includes the pins on the computers to use.
i did it about 2-3 weeks ago so it is all still fresh in my head so if you have any other questions just ask.

everything works just fine with our cars, except two minor things. one of them is the knock sensor signal. i don't know which one is the correct wire, so i just never hooked it up. the other is that the afm signal on our cars is 0-4.6 volts, not 0-5 volts like other similiar cars. the only problem this leads to is that at max throttle at full boost, your max afm reading will be like 70% not 100% like would be expected. the throttle signal works just fine, reads 0-100% exactly like the pedal position.
i have not done any tuning with mine yet because i don't have my wideband O2 sensor installed yet. once that is done, i will be taking it to a dyno to get it tuned there.

no. it does not set it up automatically. the manual has a step by step instruction for setting it up. just remember that our cars use the airbox, but it works like a MAF sensor, so when selecting the sensor select the MAF type. oh and in case you did not get the manual when you got the unit, go to the webpage and download it because you will need it. there are actually two manuals one for installing and the other for setup and tuning.
