Default It's time for the next owner

I have put my car up for sale in the past, but re-considered almost immediately. I did the timing belt in 2019 and it's been sitting every since. Had a few things to work through such as a small boost leak, an AC compressor mounting hole that needed a heli-coil installed, etc., etc.

I put it up for sale here and on Pelican Parts a few weeks ago. It appears that it is going to the Miami area. Deal not 100% done yet. Can't believe the prices on BAT, today an 86 went for $35K that was similar to mine.

I just don't drive it and I am building a new house in FL. I'm going to lose my storage garage in a few months so the cost to store would go up exponentially.

I fixed just about everything on it and with 285 ft-lbs to the rear wheels it's a real hoot! Drove it today, was laughing getting on and off the boost. On the highway she is a real dream.

I am happy that it is going on to its next owner, they are going to be very happy. I can always buy another car. This one is pretty special.

Good memories with these cars. Hope the sale works out for you.
I’m still on the fence with mine. So for now she sits in storage.

That's a solid, happy looking car in Guards Red. Someone will be happy. You might be sad when it's gone, but I'm in a similar situation. Would like more garage space, and I'd still have the Cayman R.

Well, she's on her way to Miami to a guy who has always wanted one. He is doing concrete polishing for a high end used Porsche dealer, the owner of the dealer found my car and bought it from me, he is bartering it for the polishing. The guy who will be the owner had seen my ad here or on Pelican Parts.

Fellow Chicago area 951 owner. Your car looks great and glad it's going to a good home. Though sad to see it leave.
