found and seem to have fixed the leak, in any case. A couple firm squeezes with the channel locks, and the leaking seems to have stopped. It was the seam with the plastic and metal rear of radiator behind the switch plug.
Yessss... looks very familiar! Now the best part: I decided to try and find exactly when I did this. My notes indicate it was not two years ago.

It was 2017

That’s awesome! Thanks for the tip!

maybe the best part… my wife isn’t here to see me messing up the bathtub with a RADIATOR. I think maybe I’ll leave some evidence just to be funny.

”ummm, honey… why are these rubber hoses in the bathroom?” 😂

Buddy this is a family forum

Be sure to go around and squeeze all the tabs, not just the ones near the leak

I wondered if anybody was going to respond to my awkward humor!

I’ll do it. Like usually happens, I pulled the hoses off last night, and then started thinking this morning… I didn’t get it up to 7psi. Maybe I need to do that, also.

Reminded me of when I replaced the races in my front hubs using the “oven and freezer” method.

Thinking I knew what would happen if my wife found I had been cooking car parts in our new oven... I went out and bought the cheapest toaster oven I could find. Worked great... and I didn’t have to sleep in the car afterwards.

I’ve got a question regarding those 9” spal fans…

Are they brushed or brushless? My drivers side fan has conked out making me justify wanting the fan shroud kit. I need a radiator too but that’s down the line lol.

^^ fWIW you can rebuild the stock 944 fan motors for about $10 in bearings/rivets. there's a writeup on the 928 board (same motors)
