Default Hey ya'll... Sorta a "re-introduction" if you will....

Hey everyone -

Guess what - he's back. At least I'm honestly making an attempt to be back as often as I possibly can.

Hey John D - thanks for not wasting the login!

I'm currently Porsche-less - but if anyone has a DEAD, and I MEAN DEAD car they want to part with for not a heck of a lot of cash - I know of a garage where it will be SLOWLY brought back to life....

For those who are new to me - HI! And I'll do my best to help out.

I've owned a couple P-cars in my time, and am pretty good at the 944 series, including turbos.

Thanks also to all for all the support I've seen throughout the difficult times of the past 10 or so months. But things are looking at least ok now.

Welcome back Jay.
There's some deals out there if you can wait it out. Of course, if I had a couple extra bucks and an empty spot in the garage, it wouldn't be empty long.

Who ended up with your hot rod? Is he/she on here?

Hey Skip ! Raj!

No can do Hershey this year - or for the foreseeable future... Unless more things change here. Besides, with my new 3.5 month old son - I'd rather not miss the time with him.

But - I'm back here at least.

Keep your eyes pealed for DEAD car. And I MEAN DEAD. Like DEAD engine is fine. Tranny too even. LOL. Heck - perfect drivetrain and horrific appearence even better.....

Hey DanD-

My hot rod? Sniffle...

Sold it to Steve Magowen ( I think I spelled that right - if not - sorry man!)

He's since (and this is hearsay only!) taken my engine and replaced it into his 89, changed the Turbo to a faster spooling one, and some other stuff too.

My 911 was sold to a dealer, who resold it to someone who is currently caring well for her.

Get this - I drive a DODGE STRATUS now. ACK!!!!!

Jay... it has been a while!!! Great to have you back, and it's nice that you brought good news with you. There have been a few restoration worthy candidates pop up around here lately. Good luck with the search.

Hey man, welcome back. What kind of dead? 1400 bucks dead, or more dead than that?

I know of an 87 951 with a spun rod bearing for $2500.00 in Utah Red with black interior and Recaro seats...
