Pete,

Totally in love with your torque curve...I was eyeing up the Sandén engine myself but your effort is very rewarding to observe. Look forward to seeing your car around Stockholm again soon.

your wastagte is not ad. I think you have the Sanden one nota shimed one right? Do you have the 0.5 or the 0,8 bar spring?
how do you control it?
manual boost controler?
Is this the engine that Sanden hadfor sale? The S2 uild 3 L Turbo?

yes we tetsted the yelow beast on a 40degree hot day and we did a 7.9sec. aGemablla Tuned 996 TT with big Turbos from Gt2 needs 8.2 sec for the same test on a colderday.
so I gues the car is fast ;-) A stock 996 TT needsabot 10sec for the same test.

Konstantin
PS you must check your air fuel ratio, and your back pressure to be safe.
I allways have one eye on my Intake Air temp meter and if the Turbo is to small making high temps then I probarbly should see hat instant on my in meter..
My wastegate is a 0,8bar Sandén modified version..
I have manual boost controller..
Yes it´s Sandéns Motor..
My A/F ratio looked excellent on the wideband sensor on the dyno
I hope the backpressure shouldn´t be a problem, I mean I have a 10 hotside and for example Tony G Tells us that a 6 Hotside works fine to like 360Rwhp..

Regards
Pete

Take a look at this chart:

Perhaps Poa has one of the smaller GT30's but otherwise it should flow more than a K27/10.

Anyway, it will be interesting to hear performance numbers from you Cup, especially with its low weight!
Of course, studid me
I´m not sure wich model his running and it dosent have to be a small one infact it´s probarbly a bigger one..

you say you have a k27/10 but on your signature it says k27/8. what is right?
what was the configuration in the 2002 and 2003 engine thatis on the same dyno sheet?
Do you have the real dynosheet. this one is just a "computerized one"

Poas has a total different secret Turbo and has nothing to do with the common Turbos you buy on the Internet.
His car is the only one which can slip a real 968 Turbo S clutch. in third gear.
I would call this TORQUE.

I think your numbers are very good with thisTurbo and "only" 1.15 bar boost. I wouldn't change anything
it isbetter for teh engine torun lower boost on high speed. You haveenogh Torquewhile accelerating. I would not change anything

Konstantin
PS I think this engine was sitting at Sandens shop but it was build by someone else (who is actually better in this area) So it seems you are lucky:-)

Hi everybody,

I saw that you wondered about my turbo. It's a GT30/ TO4E with a HKS hotside and compressor. It can deliver about 580 HP. You can read more about the car at "www.arkblad.com". The webpage is under construction and is currently only in swedish but that will change.

Congratulations to Puppan for the nice torque and power curves.

Puppan,

Any updates on your new engine now that you have had the engine running in your car on the street for a while now?
