Default vitesse racing Quick spool option for their kits

I did a search and did not find anything on this so... What is the quick spool option? I didn't see anything on the website that explained much about it other than it is an extra $200.00. Anyone know how much quicker it spools and how it works?

The quick spool option on the stage 2 will give you full boost at 3150 rpm. That's running very rich with a $13 boost controller. A few guys have their A/F ratios in check with an electronic controller and have seen full boost as low as 2900. The quick spool option spools up about 200 to 300 rpm's sooner then the non-quick spool (at least that's what I hear).

Yes, but I think the questions is:
What *is* the quick spool option?

not what is the effect.

You can rule out hamsters and a exercise wheel, they just cant move quite that fast at low rpms....

Whatever they do it works. John refers to it as 'extensive machining', exactly what he machines I don't know. Definately worth the money.

Wasn't there another post where someone thought it was a combination of ceramic coatings and ball bearing turbo option?

It spools up very quick, you can drive the car from below 2,000 rpm in any gear. I reached full boost at 2,600-2,700.

So, why did I sell it ?$#@$%%%^$#@#

EDIT: Did I mention I would be your best friend if you could?

I have the SFR stage 3 turbo... have not istalled it yet, so if I can do work to it prior to install, that would make sense.
