Default Wastegate Options

Suggestions on a new wastegate?

I have seen recommendations on Deltagates, Tial 38's, Guru single prot and Lindsay stock replacement single and dual port designs.

Car has a profec B controller, AA Stage 2.7 chips and a new Max Flo turbo benig installed right now.

My old wastegate appears to be OK but I am trying to think ahead.

Thanks -

Mark

GURU $190. I hold 18psi to redline no problem.

Even if your stock wastegate "seems" ok, I bet your car will liven up with a new wastegate. My car felt fine (with a Profec B), but I could not get more than 280 or so HP out of it. Adding a Deltagate made the boost hit much harder (with the same Profec B set the same way), and netted me 25hp. The Deltagate is fine, by the way, but next time I will go with Tial.

So you guys are saying that a Tail 38mm wastegate with 1.0bar sprinig is better and safer than a Lindsey dual port or a stock shimmed? both of which have boost controllers? My stock 951 is in need of a new wastegate, a tial 38mm with 0.9 or 1.0bar spring will be fine?
