Running out of turbo?
Does the boost falling off as RPM increases like this look like I'm running out of turbo or what? Backpressure?
It's a k26/6 compressor on a 2.0 (80 931 engine and hot side) @ about 20psi.. Boost control is independent/static top port pressure.. Peak power feels like 4500-5000 ish and a bit less on the top..
Everything look ok?

That's what I figured.. Thanks for the confirmation guys..
I'll be keeping my eyes out for a bigger compressor but I'm pretty happy with it the way it is for the meantime..
I'll probably turn it down to like 17-18psi and run it like that for the rest of the summer so it's not right on the edge..
Do you think I should go for a /8 with or without a billet wheel? Or go for some k27 comp? For a healthy 20 or maybe up to 25?
Maybe something from Lindsey or Turbonetics?

Has to be just a compressor upgrade for the original K26 because of how it mounts to the bearing housing..
Edit: Bearing housing hard-mounts to the block on my car, and turbine input and downpipe hard mount, so no room for error..
Have to run a 931 turbine housing and bearing housing, or make a complete custom exhaust, which I don't want to do..

They broke Eddie Felson's thumbs. You're in Eddie's parallel universe.
If past history be our guide, you're there:
Be happy and focus on keeping it (and you) happy for more of this.
The right thing to ask is: "how long can you keep the serendipity going?"
