Default Running out of turbo?

Does the boost falling off as RPM increases like this look like I'm running out of turbo or what? Backpressure?
It's a k26/6 compressor on a 2.0 (80 931 engine and hot side) @ about 20psi.. Boost control is independent/static top port pressure.. Peak power feels like 4500-5000 ish and a bit less on the top..
Everything look ok?

Completely expected behavior on a k26/6 . You're squeezing everything you can out of that turbo with that boost setting and that's all it can do

That's what I figured.. Thanks for the confirmation guys..

I'll be keeping my eyes out for a bigger compressor but I'm pretty happy with it the way it is for the meantime..
I'll probably turn it down to like 17-18psi and run it like that for the rest of the summer so it's not right on the edge..

Do you think I should go for a /8 with or without a billet wheel? Or go for some k27 comp? For a healthy 20 or maybe up to 25?
Maybe something from Lindsey or Turbonetics?

Honestly there are many newer modern choices available that both right in. You should check in with Emmanuel and his voodoo turbo setup

Has to be just a compressor upgrade for the original K26 because of how it mounts to the bearing housing..

Edit: Bearing housing hard-mounts to the block on my car, and turbine input and downpipe hard mount, so no room for error..
Have to run a 931 turbine housing and bearing housing, or make a complete custom exhaust, which I don't want to do..

Except, it's not "his" turbo is it? Plus him and his cronies slag off this forum at every opportunity.

They broke Eddie Felson's thumbs. You're in Eddie's parallel universe.

The right thing to ask is: "how long can you keep the serendipity going?"

Until internals suddenly become externals?
