The Speed GT sponsor tire was the Toyo RA-1 for a few years. The Supercup tire is the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup. Not sure what's happening for 2005 yet in SCCA, but Michelin is still the tire for the Supercup Series.
FWIW, Porsche has released the specs on the new 997 GT3 cars: http://www2.porsche.com/gt3/pcna.asp

Well back at the dyno - changed to some 2.5 race chips from John at Vitesse.
1st run picked up from 337 to 351 on hp and 328 to 341 on torque; car was a bit lean so added 10% fuel. The numbers were down of course on the second run but picked up a bit of torque with the added fuel 347/346. Letting it cool down now, working on the dyno WBO2 which is crap but watching our UEGO close and the laptop is hooked up too..and also wonder when a last calibration of this stuff was done. Oh, boost is 16 psi on 104 gas. One more run, data log it and see where it comes up. Have a good weekend everyone.

Well I'll post because I know Jim won't. Jim took the car to the Rio Grande valley this weekend, as I'm stuck offshore. The car did GREAT and so did the driver, who posted the fastest lap time of the day, knocking off a very experienced 951 driver and putting two Corvettes back in 3rd and 4th. A friend of Jim's took the car on some laps (his car is at the shop getting a full rebuild and Vitesse Stage II) and actually passed the Vettes after three laps. The suspension is nicely sorted and if we can get the ever so slight little push out it, it will be even tougher in the corners. Good job Jim and Cliff.

chasing down a modded Z06 at the Rio Grande Valley, Jim driving and then Jim at the trailer. See everybody who is coming to TWS on the 12 and 13th.

We shall congratulate Jim (JWL) for becoming a true "hot shoe". Jim is considered a new driver, but his skills are of someone with more experience. BTW Jim posted the fastest time at T.T.
Ski, when are you going to upgrade your chip? You saw how much the race car gained by swapping chips
Have fun guys, and be safe!!
