Tims site says it spools up around 3300k. With my mods, I suspect it wont be far away from this. Expecially considering what I plan to do at the same time. What makes it a special turbo exactly? Tim, care to respond either? Or Stephen?

Haha wanna buy a "horribly expensive" short shifter.....just kidding NZ. But you did "bitch slap" Tim recently so i wouldn't hold my breathe if i was you, somehow i would be really surprised if Tim helped you out, especially since it seem's like it isn't even a SFR turbo.

jsonnen, what do you mean it does not sound like an SFR turbo? PS he deserved that bitch slap. I dont really need his help, I can get enough advise elsewhere, just depends if he wants to offer his opinion or not. Seems like he will defend his product the way this is going.

Luke, why wouldnt I spool up at 3300 in a 2.5?

Turbofan, you wrote nothing like what you did before about Magown and his experiences with the turbo. I would have to think if the hot side is no different from a #8, and TonyG backs this bad boy, then its good enough for me. I have about 10 other little things I will be doing at the same time. Tial 38mm, new hard pipes, cold air intake. Also, I have my Link 2 to tune it. I bet Tim's 3300 spool up did not include those functions/

I recommended to you about 1,000 times that you shouldn't buy this turbo, so I don't feel guilty. Good luck anyway. I didn't know that Magown sold you this special turbo but now I remember.
NZ it seem's like magown said it wasn't a SFR turbo according to turbofan.

I don't understand your question. I didn't sell him the SFR stage 3. He already had it and those were his words about the spool up and so on and NOT mine. I hope (for you) that he was wrong but he has a TEC3 I believe.

I wrote about this before (maybe 6 months ago) and Tim and Magown didn't respond in a nice way.

I didnt ask a question. I didnt say you sold him the SFR 3. He has a Tec III I think. I didnt read your post 6 months ago. I was not even planning on a new turbo then! This was a good deal though. So... what helps reduce the spool up?

I am not interested in going into this discussion any further. Good luck with your new turbo!

That was addressed to Jsonnen...

I would only like constructive not personality points rasied. So, having said that, what would help reduce the spool up?

Yeah, I have two antilag options on my Link 2... I could use either of those

I thought it would be hard on the turbo though?
