Default Wasted spark coil options

Hello adicts

I am about to run wasted spark driven off my Link. What coil packs have people used to run wasted spark? Part numbers etc. Also, where have they been mounted?

I saw the car that PD did for a Link user in LA. They used the Link dual Channel Igniter and 2 Dual output coils. The Coils were mounted on the Cam cover . If you have the Link 2, why don't you go sequential and use 4 LSI Coil/Igniters. Coils run around $ 50.00 here in US I think. $ 200.00 and you've got your 4 coils and 4 Igniters. Can't beat that. You could always tie 2 of these Coils together, ( 2 x 2) and go Wasted Spark.

Cant run sequential without PD kit. Too expensive. I want a dual coil to run wasted spark of a dual igniter...

Ask Link USA for the dual output coil they have , or use 4 LSI coils and pair them together. I think Link USA could supply Link NZ.

Some 4 cyl Suburus use a dual coil wasted spark coil setup. The dual coil unit is fairly small, about palm size. It has one tap for +12V, one leg each for charge/discharge of the coils, and four connections for the plug wires. The one I have has a part number: 22433AA360 CM12-100.

Cool, the Misti EVO's run wasted spark also. I have been told they will also work. Though I would prefer a good aftermarket one like MSD etc...

IIRC some of the Mitsi Gallants had a wasted spark COP setup that only required wiring up one cable per two cylinders (each one has a pigtail going to a second plug). Is the EVO coil or COP?

I want to eventually go COP but at that time I couldn't find an aftermarket setup.

Yes, EVO's and VR4 galants have wasted spark as stock. I want a MSD setup I think, but need to know it will work...

Superjet or Neil anyone from PD, got the part number of the coil pack you are using for wasted spark? Or a list of alternative that would be ok to use? How does it work exactly?

I think they use a Dual out put Coil that is made for them. I seem to remember they suggested to use the LS1 coil with built in Igniter. You need 4, and tie 2 together. I think he told me it would be less $ this way. The alternative is 2 of these dual type coils and a Dual channel Igniter.
