Seems to be very rich down low. Is that an incorrect assessment?

I think you mean lean right? It looks like 15:1 at the beginning richening up to around 12:1. I'm assuming that was done to get a quicker spool up time.

Strange torque drop around 3600rpm on both curves. Anyone know what boost those were done at?

Travis leaned up the mid range a bit for quicker spool up. The chart shows first and 10th runs at 18 lbs boost. What a difference tuning makes. The turbo is a T04B with a #8 hotside BB center. All done on 93 pump gas. All I can say is David the owner of the dyno Knows how to tune. David also said if the tenth run was first I would have picked up 10 to 15 more hp and torque. Heat soak

You should have seen the look on the Vette guy's faces after that last pull.

Jimbo,

When you say "tune" -- what do you mean? Adjust the ARC2 and fuel pressure, right? Did you do anything else? Thanks, Tom

The curves are awefully jagged, no? Is your ignition up to the task?

How did your wideband readings compare to what was seen on the dyno jimbo?

Why were you running ~10psi of fuel pressure before? Whats changed between the last dyno and now?

What changed from before tuning to after? Just fueling correct?

Nice chart, the different scaling on the HP and TQ curves threw me off. The numbers said that peak TQ was higher than peak HP, but the graph lines didn't show that. Took me a little while to adjust.

Are you using anything to control fuel? ARC2 or piggyback? Great numbers!!! Congrats!

I wonder if the car richened up a little sooner, if the torque curve wouldn't be a little wider and carry it out to say 4800-5200, where hp and torque would cross rather than 4600; being that most torque is developed in the A/F range of 11.8 to 12.3.

I will try to richen up the mid next time on the dyno. But for now im using crazy glue on the arc 2 *****. Nothing has change since my last runs on the dyno except fuel pressure and I installed a arc 2 instead of a 2 **** pro m piggy back. The tuning is one part arc 2 one part frp and 10 parts know how. The tech edge unit would have bin great if it worked. If you do have a WB get it check for accuracy before you put your trust in it as I have.

jimbo, on the tech edge site there is a "voltage output" to A/F ratio spreadsheet. IIRC, 2.50 v is 14.7. but I would have to look it up to be sure. Pins 6 & 7 are the signal and ground to check the voltage in the serial port connection. If your WBO2 is off(or is it the dyno off), the site gives you the info to calibrate it. Remove the cover and behind there are a "span" and "zero" pots. I checked mine the other day after hooking up the Mafterburner, since it has a drop down box for four WBO2 inputs, Tech Edge being one. Mine was @ 2.47-2.49 v. good luck.

Oh yeah, where are you picking up the voltage to power the control box from? It has got to at least 13v.

Why is it so jaggy. I would think a person who could tune a car on a dyno would get rid of that.

Could it be the result of wheel spin (though at that power I doubt it)?
