Thats 195.4 HP and 219.3 Pd FT of torque. Not too shabby for a stock car with a BOV on its way out heh?

how much did the turbo and the headers cost you?

18 lb means 18 PSI, right?

If you remove the cover of the serial connector, you can get on pins 7(vOut) and 6(ground) and check your ouput voltage.

This turbo is smaller than a 60-1 hifi. The 60-1 hifi will probably give you a little more hp but the torque will be less. It spools about 500 to 800 rpms later. bb may reduce that to 400 to 500 rpms. I know the turbo specs but please don't ask.

Eyal 951 It doesn't take much to reach my level. A properly selected turbo, maf/w piggy back, afpr and 55 lbs injectors. Problem is if you want more you will pay dearly.
Personally I am interested in seeing a dyno of Tims stage 2 header/crossover/turbo on a stock engine. That may be the next bang for your buck mod that doesn't require you to break into the motor.

Talk to tim about current pricing.

18 lb means 18 PSI, right? 18 psi yes No magic dust here. Just a simple set up that works.
Thanks for the positive feed back.

I just did.

So it was installed in the wrong location and that was the reason it was giving you poor readings. Thats exactly what I've thought the issue was for the past few months.

Ski the voltage at idle/part throttle are perfect with a 14.7 It's when on boost the problem occurs. False readings. Rich when it's not. As stated in the PLX thread. The sensor may have to be relocate further away close to the cat bypass. Once it's relocated I will post the results. I may be having an isolated incident so don't get to worried just yet. All I am saying is the widebands should be double checked before you put your full confidence in them. As I did.

The pressure is too high in the crossover pipe and the temps are too high (result is skewed readings), there's a good thread on wideband O2 sensor placement in the archives.

You get good readings at idle because pressure and temps are still OK at idle in the x-over pipe.

Hi Jimbo1111,
Congrats, very nice results.
According to SFR's web info it
is claimed that the stage 2 will
make over 350 rwhp at 18psi.
So, am I missing something ?

jimbo, I installed my sensor on the test pipe, down about 6" from the test pipe/down pipe connection. There is nice spot on the test pipe in an area by the oil pan that has room to install it and remove without getting a small child to do it

There is something wrong. You might be tunning or a better ignition away from smooth power. You get it smooth there is probably about 10more Hp to squeeze out of that monster. How is your car on the street now? Most experts say the dyno number does not mean faster on the street. There are alot of differant forces at work with airflow real car weight and tempature.

billgot - I dont understand that statement. Most experts say thay dyno number does not translate into faster on the street.

I will take a 350HP dyno car over a 250HP dyno car any day unless one weighs much less than the other!

There are differences in Cd but HP can overcome that, if anything airflow is BETTER on the street than a dyno cell, weight can be overcome by HP but two identically weighted cars the one with the higher output should be fast (all things being equal), temperature is likely better on the street due to airflow.

So what's the secret? This can only mean that it is very expensive. I'd rather go to companies which have no secrets about their products.
