Injection control line upside down????
I installed my control line in what I believe is the only possible orientation. On mine the two smaller lines are on the bottom of the larger line. However when I look at other pictures or diagrams for the part installed, mine looks upside down. The routing looks correct so what gives??
Thanks

I Believe you are referring to the AOS Line and the two lines that goto the Cycling Valve... Looks correct to me.. Not sure why the arrow is pointed to the end of the intake manifold port?

Arrow pointing is not my picture. But if you look closely you can see the two metal lines are on the bottom of the manifold going to the CV ports on my install and on the top on the other picture. Seems weird to me.

It does look "upside down" compared to the original part, but it must be an updated version that is manufactured differently from the original (I found a pic of my original part from when I replaced my turbo with the upgraded Evergreen K27/6). As long as the lines are going to the correct ports on the cycling valve and it fits under the intake manifold, you should be good to go.
FYI I ditched this part completely when I replaced the turbo; stock cycling valve was replaced with MAC boost control solenoid for use with with VEMS, and breather from AOS goes to a closed-loop catch can. Makes for a lot more room under the intake manifold. But if you are sticking with the stock cycling valve, makes sense to keep it.

What's with all the pristine engine cmpartments lately? How do you guys keep the parts so clean??
Anyway, the original metal tree on my '88 is exactly like yours
PS.. did you replace the elbow to the AOS? My understanding is this isn't available separately

I did see that the later 951 has a different part # for that manifold from '86-87, so that probably explains the "upside down" look. Likely has to do with the reconfigured "Venturi delete" setup of the '88+ cars, which many of us with early cars have changed to long ago . . . .

I did replace that hose. I got it from 944 online. Pretty sweet especially for the price $59.95.
