Oh yeah.. the memories of opening it up in my apartment are coming back into frame! That was 17 years ago. I don't think we knew how many miles were on that block but it was in good shape. It has 75K more now and 3 bad head stud holes and marginal bores.

I'm bumping this back to the top... I'm passing on this engine (and might regret it in the long run!). I have an opportunity to sleeve my block complete with pistons and rods for a ridiculously good price. Someone needs to ****** this up and put it in a worthy car.

Is it just the block ? Balance shafts, Oil pan included ? Kinda need every thing below the head. What all would I need to get her running ?

Fortunately that makes it expensive enough to be easier to pass on… I probably shouldn't be buying engines right now
